2025 Holidays Contractual Employees

2025 Contractual Holiday Schedule

All eligible contractual employees, except faculty and those excluded due to their “essential employee” status, will follow this schedule. Eligible full-time contractual employees may receive paid holidays, annual leave days, and personal/sick leave days. Eligible part-time employees earn leave at half the rate of full-time employees.

The last working day for MSU employees before the winter recess will be Monday, December 22, 2025. The campus will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026. Employees must be in a paid employment status on the calendar date of the holiday, regardless of the date observed, to be eligible for full holiday pay.
