Bio:

I am a proud graduate of Morgan State University, where I majored in Elementary Education. I hold a Master of Science in Information Systems and Telecommunications from Johns Hopkins University. My passion for education began while teaching in Baltimore City Public Schools.

At Coppin State University, I served as a recruiter and advisor for the School of Education. In that role, I supported undergraduate students, built relationships with potential applicants, and tracked student progress to improve retention and graduation rates. I also played a key role in recruiting Education majors by offering scholarships and collaborating with Institutional Advancement to identify candidates for private donor scholarships.

As the Retention Coordinator for the School of Community Health and Policy and the College of Liberal Arts, I coordinated student retention activities, including academic advisement, mentoring, and assisting with the ACCESS Orientation Program and other campus-wide retention initiatives.

In my current role as Student Scholars and Strategic Partners Specialist in the Office of Student Success and Retention, I support student scholars in successfully completing their studies at Morgan State University. As an alumna, I am deeply committed to giving back to the university. I have been an active member of the Morgan State University Gala Committee, serve as president of the RED Dynasty MSU Alumni Chapter, am a member of the MSU Howard County Alumni Chapter, and am a Life Member of the MSU National Alumni Association.
