Financial Resources for Undocumented Students

When applying for various aid programs, it's important to remember that citizenship requirements can differ. Some programs require U.S. citizenship, while others do not. Before submitting your application, be sure to review the eligibility criteria for each program to determine whether citizenship status is necessary. Look for merit-based scholarships, as most of these do not impose citizenship requirements.

According to these federal guidelines, international, undocumented, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students are not eligible for federal grants, federal student or parent loans, or need-based grants.
