Research Interest: We develop foundational frameworks of continuity equations (first-order hyperbolic equations) in mathematical, statistical, and computational aspects with main applications to 1) Electrodiffusion coupled to hydrodynamics with the immersed boundary method, 2) Wasserstein statistics and optimal transport with meta-learning and regularization, 3) Collective behaviors and energy balance in cellular migration and neuronal circuitry.
