To apply submit: 

• The entry Form
• A Thank You letter that the Foundation will forward to the donor (submitted to jacqueline.cozart@morgan.edu 
• Faculty Reference: Faculty should submit their letter of support to  jacqueline.cozart@morgan.edu  and use the subject line Dr. Burney J. Hollis Literary Award, by October 15, 2023                   

Email one of the following to jacqueline.cozart@morgan.edu:

• An 8-10-page essay
• 12-20-page short story or nonfictional prose piece
• 4 poems
• 12-20-page play, screen play, or dramatic dialogue

Submission Format:

• All pages must be number and include your last name
• Typed and Double-spaced Manuscripts
• Entries must be submitted by October 15, 2023 to  jacqueline.cozart@morgan.edu  with the subject line Dr. Burney J. Hollis Literary Award.

Deadline:
