What happens if I am called for military duty during the academic school year?

If you are called to active or military duty assignments during the academic school year, please consult with one of the Veterans Engagement Services School Certifying Officials to discuss your options and next steps based on the following:

• the time period within the semester/term in which your orders remand you to be away from school (i.e. prior to mid-terms vs near the end of the semester)
• the duration of your leave time needed (i.e. 2 weeks vs. 1 month)

Please be prepared to present your Official Military Orders for submission, the names and contact information for all your professors and if applicable the Dean or Academic Department Chair for your major.

What is the process for re-admission to the university after completing a military duty assignment?

The process of re-admission to the university is handled in the Office of the Registrar. This process can take up to 10 business days for processing and requires the completion of an online form through the following link. You can submit the completed form to records@morgan.edu for consideration.
