NTC to Collaborate with UM Dartmouth on Commercial Vehicle Safety Research
The National Transportation Center at Morgan State University will be collaborating with the University of Massachusettes Dartmouth on a 2-year grant issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration at the US Department of Transporation.
The grant, which is valued at over $330,000, is designed to support research and development for commercial motor vehicle safety countermeasures using data collected from telematics and driving simulators.
The study's findings are intended to promote the mobility of people and goods across transit networks while improving the safety of drivers.
