Jacob graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2018 with a Master's degree in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering. He has since worked primarily in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), first at the Johns Hopkins Center for Inherited Disease Research (CIDR) as a genotyping technologist, and most recently at Thrive Earlier Detection Corporation as a laboratory operations specialist. Jacob joins the Core Laboratory at Morgan State to help coordinate and conduct a broad array of biomolecular research, primarily in the areas of DNA sequencing and confocal/electron microscopy.
