Next Steps for Admitted Freshman

Congratulations on your acceptance to Morgan State University! We believe that you will be an excellent addition to the Morgan family and we are excited to welcome you to campus.

Follow this checklist to complete the enrollment process

Step OneConfirm your acceptance

Confirm your intent to enroll by May 30, 2025. Confirming your enrollment is free, so what are you waiting for?

Step Two: Change your initial password and access your student account

Your University email address and student ID number can be found in your acceptance letter. The username is the first part of your email. Do not include @morgan.edu. 

Step Three: Complete the university managed housing application

The Housing Application for the fall 2025 semester is expected to open in February 2025. Please continue to monitor our website for updates. If you have been admitted for the spring 2025 semester, and want to apply for university managed housing, please visit https://www.morgan.edu/residencelife to apply.

Step Four: Complete and submit required health forms

Please return completed health forms to the University Health Center. 

Step FiveRegister for freshman orientation

Freshman orientation is required for all incoming freshmen.  Bear Necessities New Student Orientation Registration open date is TBD. The non-refundable orientation fee is $300. The registration deadline for orientation is forthcoming in June 2025 (exact date TBD).

Step Six: Check your financial aid award status
