Next Steps for Admitted Freshman

Congratulations on your acceptance to Morgan State University! We believe that you will be an excellent addition to the Morgan family and we are excited to welcome you to campus.

Follow this checklist to complete the enrollment process: 

Step One: Confirm your acceptance

Confirm your intent to enroll by June 1, 2024. Confirming your enrollment is free, so what are you waiting for?

Step Two: Change your initial password and access your student account

Your University email address and student ID number can be found in your acceptance letter. The username is the first part of your email. Do not include @morgan.edu. 

Step Three: Complete the university managed housing application

The Housing Application is now open. Note: the Fall 2024 Housing Application will close on June 1, 2024. The closing date may change as it is subject to residential capacity.

Step Four: Complete and submit required health forms

Please return completed health forms to the University Health Center. 

Step Five: Register for freshman orientation

Freshman orientation is required for all incoming freshmen.  Bear Necessities New Student Orientation Registration is now open. The non-refundable orientation fee is $300. The registration deadline for orientation is June 1, 2024, so make sure to register today.

Step Six: Check your financial aid award status
