Web Content Management System

The web content management system (CMS) provides a host of features for improved content design as well as templates that provide a consistent look and feel to all pages of our website. The system also puts content creation into the hands of users across academic schools, departments and administrative units. Non-technical staff and faculty will be able to keep their websites fresh and updated.

The University licensed a proprietary CMS from the Ingeniux Corporation, in 2006. Over the years the CMS has evolved into a robust platform, designed specifically for the needs of the campus community and it serves as the central content management system for our campus websites.

The CMS provides benefits, including content ownership, workflow, and version control. It is a web-based system that can be accessed with virtually any modern internet browser. Additional benefits include:

  • Easy Access: Login with your Morgan user account, so you'll never have to worry about remembering or losing usernames or passwords.
  • No programming knowledge necessary: Allows users to manage their websites without needing to learn programming languages or markup.
  • Responsive: Every site is fully responsive, meaning it will provide the best experiences across a variety of devices (desktops, tablets, and phones)
  • Support: The CMS is managed by the web communications team on campus.  Help and advice are available by contacting us at websupport@morgan.edu.

To become an authorized content owner to receive access to manage your unit's website, please see User Support and Training.

If you are an authorized content owner, please visit the Web Support Site for tips on how to work within the CMS.
