Race – racism, racial inequality, critical race theory, intersectionality, racial socialization
(particularly in relation to Black populations).
Social Psychology – symbolic interactionism, meaning making, narratives, mental health &
wellness, identity, emotions
Collective Behavior & Social Change – social justice, Black social movements, prospectus,
collective memory and imagination, collective identity
Qualitative Methods – interviews, ethnography, autoethnography, content analysis, critical
discourse analysis, focus groups
