Sabrina Sampson is one of the newer faculty members within Morgan State University’s Department of Sociology & Anthropology, and a product of the program's success as well. After completing her B.A. in Sociology requirements in 2017, she focused her interests in urban communities and education to power her award-winning research on Baltimore City Public Schools (WBHR-LSAMP Outstanding Social Science Award, 2017). Sabrina then developed a more personal relationship with her research interests as she became a teaching advisor for multiple introduction courses in the Sociology & Anthropology department here at Morgan.
Upon receiving her M.S. in Sociology in 2019, she continued to engage in rigorous research working at the National Opinion Research Center and later lent her expertise to a consulting firm. Sabrina has since returned to teaching at her Alma Mater and is concurrently working on community-based research projects at Baltimore’s own Shepherd’s Clinic.
Courses Taught:
Introduction To Anthropology *, Introduction To Sociology, Social Statistics
Current Projects: EMPOWER program at Shepherd’s Clinic, Referral Coordination Project at Shepherd’s Clinic
