Ms. Proctor currently serves as the Communications Specialist (consultant) for the RCMI and ASCEND programs at Morgan State University. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing various digital marketing projects and introducing new initiatives to increase awareness of the RCMI and ASCEND programs.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she majored in English and minored in Digital Media studies. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science Degree in Management (with a specialization in Marketing) from the University of Maryland Global Campus, previously known as UMUC. During her educational career, she was able to foster a deeper understanding of emerging marketing trends and focus on developing a blend of strategic and innovative thinking, creativity, and exceptional written communication skills.
Prior to joining the Morgan State University team, Ms. Proctor gained valuable experience working as a Communications Coordinator at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. There, she successfully created and spearheaded communication campaigns and developed compelling content to enhance brand visibility and awareness.
Ms. Proctor’s passion for education, especially higher education, is her primary career motivation.
