Dr. Wimberly is a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Maryland. Dr. Wimberly has over 25 years of experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate students. Over the years, she has served as an adjunct faculty member at Morgan State University, Loyola University Maryland, Bowie State University, and as an Assistant Professor at Trinity Washington University in the area of Psychology. Additionally, Dr. Wimberly has a vast amount of clinical experience. Dr. Wimberly especially enjoys utilizing and applying relevant clinical cases in her psychology courses for the purpose of bringing course material to life. Dr. Wimberly's experience providing clinical services to clients (children, adolescents, adults, and seniors) with a variety of addiction and mental health issues, has enabled her to utilize relevant clinical case examples in the psychology courses that she teaches. Dr. Wimberly asserts that clinical illustrations help her students clarify terms, concepts, and phenomena in psychology which enriches their learning experience.
