Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD)

The CPA is working with the BCHD on a project to determine COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy in specific subgroups. The CPA has developed and executed an evaluation plan that assesses the process and effectiveness of the supply and demand strategies of the Baltimore versus COVID initiative, inclusive of public perception of BCHD, its communication with the public, and its delivery of vaccines.

Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR)

The CPA is working with WRAIR through an NIH SEPA grant to help them assess their ongoing Near-Peer Mentor-led science enrichment programs with enhanced mentoring in underserved classrooms throughout Maryland to increase the number of individuals from underrepresented groups with greater STEM understanding and the potential to pursue STEM careers. 

Maryland State Health Department

Two projects: 1) Behavioral Health Administration assessment of opioid awareness and knowledge within all Maryland counties and 2) Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration survey of pregnant women and opioid addiction. 

The College Discovery Next Generation Program

The CPA is assessing MSU’s Next Generation Scholars of Maryland Program recipients to enhance their college and career awareness and college completion for low-income Maryland high school students. 

Council of Graduate Schools (CGS)

The CPA is continuing the management of the annual fall doctoral and spring graduate student surveys developed by the nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC dedicated solely to the advancement of graduate education and research. These surveys seek to understand the impact of the doctoral and graduate students' experience during and after their matriculations. 

SCMNS-Aleks

This is an ongoing analysis of math placement success for entering freshmen. The CPA obtained the test scores and evaluated the success of students in the prescribed math courses to determine the validity of the test for entering freshmen. 

The Maryland Office of the Public Defender

The CPA developed a test to evaluate the competency of attorneys after studying prescribed modules to practice in the juvenile justice system based on their scores, with a 70% correct pass rate.
