If you have applied to Morgan State University but were not admissible based on your high school GPA and standardized test scores, there is a viable alternative designed just for you! Your present academic record may not truly indicate your ability or potential. That’s where the Pathways Program comes in! The Pathways Program is intended for applicants outside Maryland or Washington, DC.

As a Pathways program participant, you will begin your college career at a local community college of your choosing by enrolling in courses you will later transfer to Morgan*.  While studying at the community college, Pathways program participants will be invited to experience campus culture at Morgan State through a series of curated events designed to allow program participants to engage with MSU students, faculty, and staff. Pathways participants must attend at least one offering per semester.

After completing 24 or more transferable credits and with a community college grade-point average of at least 2.5, you will re-apply as a transfer applicant to Morgan State University and continue your studies as a Morgan student in good standing. Pathways program participants may only transfer in the Fall semester.

Stay on course, and keep Morgan in your future. Make your Pathway lead to Morgan.

*Developmental/remediation courses are not transferable.
