Connect Program

The Connect Program

If you have applied to Morgan State University but were not admissible based on your high school GPA and standardized test scores, there is a viable alternative designed just for you! Your present academic record may not truly indicate your ability or potential. That’s where the Connect Program comes in!

As a Connect program participant, you will begin your college career at any Maryland community college, enrolling in courses you will later transfer to Morgan*. We connect you with the community college liaison and monitor your progress to ensure you stay on track. While studying at the community college, Connect program participants will be invited to experience campus culture at Morgan State through a series of curated events designed to provide program participants with the opportunity to engage with MSU students, faculty, and staff. Connect participants must attend at least one offering per semester

After completing 24 or more transferable credits and with a community college grade-point average of at least 2.5, you will re-apply as a transfer applicant to Morgan State University and continue your studies as a Morgan student in good standing. Connect program participants may only transfer in the Fall semester.

Stay on course, and keep Morgan in your future. Make your Morgan Connection.

*Developmental/remediation courses are not transferable.
