Shamon Shine-Lee serves as a Budget Officer at the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Morgan State University (MSU). She has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration from MSU.

 
Ms. Shine-Lee has extensive experience in grant management. Prior to joining the ORA in June 2022, Ms. Shine-Lee worked as the Program Coordinator for the School of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences for four (4) years (2018-2022), managing a variety of grants funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, Department of Defense and other funding agencies. She also served as a Project Administration at the ASCEND Center for Biomedical Research for three (3) years (2015 -2018), managing several aspects of a large NIH-funded cooperative agreement. Prior to joining MSU, Ms. Shine-Lee worked with other state agencies, including the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and Maryland Department of Transportation.  

As an alumna of MSU, Ms. Shine-Lee wants to give back to the institution. She believes in family and teamwork.
