Security Awareness Training
Morgan State University's online Security Awareness Training program is conducted every October and is mandatory for all employees. All affected MSU users will be enrolled automatically for this training and will receive an email from our training partner at Living Security (training@app.livingsecurity.com). Please pay particular attention to the due date for completing the training.
The program, managed by the Division of Information Technology (DIT), is mandatory for all faculty and staff. The training consists of interactive activities, review and acceptance of MSU's Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources Policy (AUP), with a short assessment of knowledge gained.
The training is estimated to take about thirty five (35) minutes and must be completed within 5 weeks. A score of at least eighty (80) percent on the assessment is required to be deemed as having passed this compliance training. A final score will appear on the screen and DIT will receive a notification to that effect as a confirmation of successful compliance.
If a user does not successfully complete the training within the allowed 5 week period, his/her Morgan account will be disabled until that condition is satisfied.
