CoURAGE scientists, DOE funding officials and field scientists visit the Clifton Highschool site at Morgan State University in February 2024.
The Department of Energy (DOE) Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Program sponsored Field Campaign: the Coast-Urban-Rural Atmospheric Gradient Experiment (CoURAGE), will deploy main observation instruments at Morgan State University’s Clifton Park Site to study urban climate in Baltimore. The CoURAGE field campaign will be help in three different sites in and around Baltimore, with the Morgan Clifton Park as the main deployment site. The field campaign is slated to start in December 2024 and will be taking urban climate data continuously through November 2025. Dr. Xiaowen Li and Dr. Richard Damoah are members of the CoURAGE science team. Dr. Xiaowen Li is serving as the Morgan PI. https://www.arm.gov/news/
