The Center for Career Development assists students and alumni in the career decision-making process through various services, including:

• Career assessments, counseling, and experiential learning opportunities
• Individual advising/counseling
• A career resource lab for obtaining career information and researching employers
• Developing job-seeking skills through workshops and individualized preparation
• Planning and executing a targeted job search
• Providing opportunities to interview with employers
• Access to job fairs and career days sponsored by Morgan State University and other organizations in the region
• Assistance with graduate school planning
• Connecting job seekers to employers and equipping them with the tools needed to be competitive and successful in today's global market

Our Mission

Our mission is to assist undergraduate and graduate students, as well as degree-holding alumni, in determining their major course of study, choosing a career direction, and pursuing graduate education. We emphasize student success through self-exploration, career exploration, and the development of job search-related skills. Our goal is to empower our clients to make sound career decisions, achieve career satisfaction, and become productive members of society.
