Morgan State UEL Alumna Dr. Candice Strachan Featured in Bold Magazine

Morgan State University's Urban Educational Leadership (UEL) Program is proud to announce that Dr. Candice Strachan, a recent UEL graduate, has been featured in Bold Journey magazine. Dr. Strachan, who graduated in May 2024, hails from the Bahamas and came to Morgan to explore systemic education challenges and find innovative solutions for her home country.

Her dissertation, “Voices of Bahamian Students: Using Student Voice to Leverage School Reform in the Bahamas,” provided an in-depth analysis of the Bahamian public education system. Dr. Strachan's work has garnered international recognition, and she has been featured widely, particularly in the Bahamas.
