Programs
The Department of Advanced Studies, Leadership, and Policy offers graduate degree programs across six concentrations. Please learn more about each concentration below. The School of Graduate Studies coordinates the application process.

The Assessment, Evaluation, and Research graduate program equips students to systematically examine the theoretical and practical challenges evident across the P-20 educational pipeline to address the issue of inequity.

The Community College Leadership graduate programs prepare students for senior-level leadership roles and professorial positions within the community college setting.

The Comparative and International Education graduate program prepares students to examine educational issues from a global perspective.

The Higher Education & Student Affairs Administration (HESA) graduate programs prepares individuals for careers as highly effective higher education administrators and scholars.

The Graduate Programs in Mathematics and Science Education (GPMSE) prepares individuals for careers throughout the education landscape. The GPMSE offers six programs. The Doctor of Education (EdD) degrees prepare scholar practitioners to bring a research lens to. These graduates will work in schools and districts in mathematics or science education. The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) prepares future faculty and researchers for positions in higher education. The Master’s of Science (MS) degrees prepare students who want to study at the doctoral level either in the EdD or the PhD programs.

The Urban Educational Leadership Program provides an experience that will prepare doctoral candidates to assume leadership roles in urban school systems and other educational agencies.
