Professor Green-Connor has 11 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate accounting levels. Her background includes 32 years of experience in accounting, financial, and administrative disciplines working in the Electric and Gas Utility Industry in various roles in general accounting, plant accounting, budgeting, cost control and leadership.
As an educator, she believes it is her responsibility to utilize different learning approaches in order to communicate and convey information effectively to students with different learning styles. Creating a variety of learning experiences that appeal to different types of learners and learning styles is a challenge but a necessary objective. She also believes that the role of an educator is to meet students where they are, but to move them beyond their current state by providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
