School of Social Work
Academics
Programs
-
The Program offers an opportunity for students to major in a generalist practice-oriented sequence that is directly related to the delivery of social services in an urban milieu.
-
The MSW program prepares beginning generalist and advanced social work practitioners to practice competently and effectively with urban families, groups, organizations, and communities.
-
The PhD program in social work prepares students to apply a social justice framework to analyze and solve the catastrophic problems of contemporary urban society.
-
The DSW program at Morgan State University prepares experienced MSW practitioners for advanced social work practice and human service leadership with urban individuals, families, and communities. The intersections of racial, economic and gender-based oppression place urban individuals, families, and communities at risk of experiencing social and mental health problems disproportionately.
Offices
