building model

Dr. Randy Rowel and SCHP were funded by Baltimore Office of Promotion and Arts. The Community Walk Through Theater (CWTT) is an arts engagement project that takes full advantage of Mid-town assets by providing opportunities to create and display art on a 12 X 19 foot screen by using a high powered projector, a vacant lot, and a wall of an abandoned building. This project will utilize A New Day's location at 734 North Monroe Street to project images from the second floor of their building to a the vacant white wall located 150 feet directly across the street.

Ground Root (Ray Baylor non-profit) and 2 other non-profit organizations (Mission Continues, BUILD --Baltimorean's United in Leadership Development) will spend the day preparing the lot. We currently have 8 students involved with this project:
• 6 PH doctoral students
• 1 undergraduate biology student
• 1 undergraduate architecture and planning student
