Dr. Moore brings over 15 years of higher education experience in areas of academic support, curricular, and recruitment services.  Dr. Moore’s professional contributions include securing a safe and accessible location for nearly 100,000 student records in preparation for an accreditation review at South Carolina State University.  At the University of South Carolina, he directed advisement for over 400 pre-pharmacy majors, organized experiential opportunities for pre-pharmacy students to explore the pharmacy profession, expanded recruitment activities for the College of Pharmacy to include its first open house, and established a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. 

At Guilford College, Dr. Moore converted the institution’s college catalog from a hardcopy to an electronic website, completed an electronic workflow system for the submission of course and program proposals, and directed the Registrar’s Office during the implementation of a new academic standing policy, academic calendar, and general education curriculum.  Dr. Moore’s research focus is on the history of higher education with an emphasis on minority-serving institutions formed during segregation. 

Dr. Moore seeks to utilize these professional contributions and research interests to serve students, faculty, staff, and the extended community within SCHP and to explore the histories of its programs.
