Graves Masters Program


The Graves School of Business and Management (GSBM), established in 1944, is committed to enhancing academic rigor and quality. Being the first Business School in the State of Maryland, we have over 70 years of experience and expertise in preparing our students for the business world. Our highly dedicated faculty (over 90% with a doctorate in the discipline in which they teach and carry out research) and staff continue to make student success their primary mission.

At the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management students can seek graduate studies in the following areas: 

MBA Program / MBA online program
The Graves MBA program (AACSB accredited), established in 1969, is a two-year program consisting of nine (9) core courses and three (3) electives (36 credits total). Students will also complete 2 Professional Development courses (0 credits each) in the first 2 semesters. Students have the option to earn Concentrations in accounting, finance, marketing, and international business, and Specializations in project management, supply chain management, entrepreneurship, and human resources.

Master of Science in Project Management / Master of Science in Project Management online
Master of Science in Project Management degree program (MSPM) is an interdisciplinary, 30-credit graduate program that provides a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of project management theory and practice. The objective of this program is to provide students with the technical and soft skills to excel in challenging work environments.

Master of Science in Hospitality Management
The Morgan Master of Science in Hospitality Management is a two-year course of study designed for individuals who seek career and business leadership opportunities in the hospitality industry.

Master of Science (MS) in Accounting
The Master of Science (MS) program in Accounting is designed for accounting, business and nonbusiness undergraduates seeking to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and make a career in the accounting profession. While the program focuses on the public accounting field, graduates will be prepared to seek employment in investment banks (e.g., mergers and acquisitions) and in corporate financial management positions. The program offers the specific courses required by the state of Maryland to sit for the CPA examination.


Master of Science (MS) in Data Analytics and Visualization

The Master of Science (MS) in Data Analytics and Visualization program is a transdisciplinary program designed to enable students from diverse undergraduate backgrounds as well as working professionals across multiple industries to advance their knowledge in data analytics and data visualization.  Students will leverage statistics, machine learning and artificial intelligence to manage and manipulate data, design data visualization schemas with end-user experience in mind, and make strategic data-driven decisions to influence organizations and communities by getting hands-on experience with a range of analytical tools.  The program is a 12 month, 30 credit program with 50% of courses chosen by the student and includes numerous "real world" exercises and projects.

Admissions Requirements

Graves School MBA & On-line MBA applicants must meet the following Admissions requirements:

  1. Provide all transcripts from an Accredited University - REQUEST Electronic Submission
  2. GMAT or GRE - REQUEST Electronic Submission. Transcripts from non-US universities must be evaluated by WES or ECE
  3. Must have obtained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (Applicants with less than a 3.0 GPA may be considered for conditional admission.
  4. Submit the following: three (3) Letters of Recommendation, one (1) Professional Goals Essay, and one (1) Resume
  5. For International Students IELTS or TOEFL score is required.

Project Management applicants must meet the following:

  1. Provide all transcripts from an Accredited University - REQUEST Electronic Submission
  2. Two years of work experience 
  3. Must have obtained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (Applicants with less than a 3.0 GPA may be considered for conditional admission.
  4. Submit the following: three (3) Letters of Recommendation, one (1) Professional Goals Essay, and one (1) Resume.
