B.S. in Construction Management

The Bachelor of Science in Construction Management (CMGT) Program develops students who understand the complexity of managing construction projects, appreciate the values of sustainable principles and their applications, and are able to manage personnel on the jobsite. The CMGT curriculum is guided by the accreditation standards and criteria of the ABET/ANSAC (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology/ Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission).
Upon completion of the Construction Management program of study, students will have a foundation of skills and knowledge in construction science, particularly in the areas of blueprints reading and construction systems, construction graphics, construction surveying, methods and materials, as well as construction estimating, planning & scheduling, construction accounting and finance, project management, and safety procedures and practices.
