MENA Studies Minor
The Middle East and North Africa Studies Minor
The Minor in Middle East and North Africa Studies is open to all Morgan students regardless of their majors. The MENA minor helps to prepare students and provide them with tools needed to meet the multifaceted challenges of the global twenty-first century through familiarization with the culture, history, and issues within the diverse region of the Middle East and North Africa.
The minor would be of interest to students who wish to pursue a broad range of careers including: diplomacy, politics, economic development, architecture, urban planning, linguistics, and others, as well as to those planning to attend graduate school.
Students pursuing a minor in Middle East and North African Studies must take MENA100, MENA400, and complete 12 credit requirements (to add up to 18 credits total) to be chosen from the below list, and the credits must be chosen from no fewer than three disciplines.
