Ebram Victoria

PhD Student,

Education:

Bachelor of Science, Corporate Communication(Minor: Philosophy), University of Baltimore

Master of Science, Landscape Architecture, Morgan State University

Ebram Victoria is a native of Houston, Texas and a long time resident of Baltimore, Maryland. He is currenly a PhD student in Architecture, Urbanism and the Built Environment and a graduate od the Master of Landscape Architecture program at Morgan State University. Prior to graduate school, he recieved a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication and a minor in philosophy from the University of Baltimore.

As an environmental entrepreneur, ecological advocate, landscape designer-builder, his work focuses on using hybrid models of green infrastructure to reclaim and create landscapes that provide extrasensory experiences; spaces that remind us (and the birds, bees, and butterflies) of nature's allure. Convinced that nature is therapeutic, his misiion has become the urgent preservation and conservation of existing natural landscapes, and the strategic retrofitting of unsustainable sites for the protection and promotion of human homeostasis-mind, body and spirit. Improving the relationship between people and places with water has become his top research goal and professional pursuit.

Cool facts: Ebram's dissertation aims to elevate a conversation around designing with nature to engineer with ease, particularly for people living along coastal urban cityscapes. When he has free time he loves to travel to beaches, read about world history, write poetry, and sketch.
