SPRING INTO RESEARCH WEEK III
APRIL 15-19, 2024
"Celebrating Research, Scholarship, Creativity and Innovation at Morgan State University"
SPONSORED BY THE OFFICE OF UNDERGRADAUTE RESEARCH, GRADUATE STUDENT ASSOCIATION, AND STUDENT RESEARCH CENTER
The Office of Undergraduate Research and School of Graduate Studies at Morgan State University are bringing back their hybrid Spring Into Research Week. In building on our collaboration, we will continue to highlight student research excellence at The National Treasure. We also welcome the participation of local college and university students. The week-long event will feature the 29th Annual Undergraduate and Graduate Research Symposium (in-person poster and virtual oral presentations); an awards presentation (student presentations will be judged by faculty members as well as by qualified attendees); plenary talks; panel discussions; and Student Research Center activities.
Moreover, we will host the annual Graduate Research, Interdisciplinary Network, and Development (G.R.I.N.D.) Conference. This year's G.R.I.N.D. Conference theme is "Bridging Boundaries: Exploring Interdisciplinary Frontiers in Research." The theme encapsulates a vision of breaking down barriers and exploring uncharted territories at the intersection of different academic disciplines. In the fast-paced and interconnected world of academia, "Bridging Boundaries" speaks to the need for collaboration and exploration across traditional disciplinary barriers. This theme recognizes that some of the most profound discoveries and innovations occur when researchers venture into the unexplored spaces between established academic domains.
All events, except where noted, will take place on the RingCentral virtual platform. To register for this event, please visit here. If you've participated in a past Spring into Research Week, you should be able to use the same login credentials. Note that everyone must register on the RingCentral platform to ensure you can participate in relevant virtual sessions.
