"It is the policy of Morgan State University to protect the name, designs, and colors of the University, including without limitation, the trademarks, service marks, designs, team names, nicknames, abbreviations, slogans, logographics, mascots, seals and other symbols which have or will come to be associated with the University (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Indicia") from unauthorized uses and to permit the use of the same under circumstances benefitting the University and its educational mission." HISTORY
IMG College Licensing, originally named the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), was founded in 1981 by Bill Battle. Since its early days, IMG College Licensing's mission has been to serve as the guiding force in collegiate trademark licensing and one of the top sports licensing firms in the country. As such, IMGCL dedicates itself to being a center of excellence in providing licensing services of the highest quality to institutions, licensees, retailers, and consumers.
As the market for collegiate merchandise continues to evolve, IMG College Licensing will remain focused on the goal of protecting, preserving, and maintaining both the integrity and long-term brand value of collegiate trademarks, while ensuring that consumers have access to quality licensed merchandise across all distribution channels.
