Veterans Engagement Services and Office of Financial Aid

It is critical that you register with the Veterans Engagement Services office as soon as you enroll as an ROTC student to unlock ROTC benefits. In addition, you must remain in contact with the Office of Financial Aid to ensure that your annual FAFSA and other documentation is correct. If you are an out-of-state student, there are multiple pathways for ROTC students to gain in-state tuition (reduces your total tuition bill by half).

Veterans Engagement Services office members have worked diligently for decades to ensure that Morgan State University remains a military-friendly campus. They are the backbone of the Bear Battalion and the driving force behind every student and faculty member's success. They tirelessly mentor students year after year to ensure that they succeed and graduate. Mrs. Shirleene Prioleau has even mentored Bear Battalion faculty and staff members who started as students at Morgan State University, retired from their military careers, and returned to serve the Bear Battalion in key civilian roles.
