Fine and Performing Arts
Zachary Houppert-Nunns is the Technical Director for the Fine and Performing Arts department here at MSU. He has been involved in theatre production his whole life, growing up backstage, he was in his first play (Mabou Mine's production of A Doll's House) at 6 years old and ran his first lighting board professionally for The Acme Corporation's 2013 production of Killer's Head . Zack graduated with his BFA from Alfred University in 2020 with a concentration in digital media and glass blowing.
Mr. Houppert-Nunns has worked in carpentry, staging, and props for companies in Maryland and New York. He has worked for Event Tech doing lighting everywhere from big concerts in Soccer stadiums to small corporate events. He has also worked as an administrative assistant for the theatre department at Towson U. where he assisted with digital archiving and general theatre maintenance. Zack has built the sets and coordinated tech for the productions in the Theatre Arts, Opera at Morgan, and the Musical Theatre program since October of 2022.
