Theatre Arts
Mari-Andrea Travis is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, director, choreographer, and producer who received her start in the arts at her family's dance school, Flair Studio, where she studied dance, etiquette, and modeling; taught; and co-managed the business alongside her mother and grandmother, who started the family business in 1968. She has choreographed and/or directed productions at Morgan State University (MSU), Coppin State University, Towson University, Arena Players, Fells Point Corner Theatre, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, and Baltimore Center Stage; and assistant directed productions at various LORT theatre houses within the metropolitan area. She has a BFA in Theatre from Morgan State University and an MFA in Dance from The University of the Arts. Mari-Andrea is a professor of theatre at Morgan State University, and is the Founder-Artistic Director of Good Stuff On Stage.
