Laura Bianca-Pruett is a visiting instructor in the Graduate Landscape Architecture Program, teaching courses in urban sustainability. She holds a Master of City and Regional Planning Program from Morgan State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from Lynchburg College. A member of the Maryland Chapter of the American Planning Association, she currently works as a Planner II for the Town of Bel Air, where she focusses on issues related to sustainable small-town planning and zoning, transportation, and historic preservation. Her research interests focus on housing and compassionate urban planning for Baltimore's unsheltered homeless population. She also records webinars and virtual tours on the RoadwayWiz YouTube Channel, with an emphasis on social and racial justice issues and history related to interstate and US highways.
