Tanelle Williams, a Baltimore native, is a passionate advocate for food security, education, and community empowerment. As a member of the Maryland Food Bank Speakers Bureau, she collaborates with policymakers to address hunger and shares her story to inspire change. She serves on the board of The Keepers Baltimore, organizing free weekly food giveaways in Northeast Baltimore, and conducts juicing demonstrations for children, seniors, and health programs like Sage Health Center.
Tanelle is the owner of Ginger’s Fresh Juice Company, promoting wellness through fresh, locally-sourced juices. She also volunteers at Plantation Park Heights Urban Farm, advocating for sustainable agriculture and teaching the importance of growing food.
In education, her role at Morgan State University, Tanelle supports the recruitment and admissions team in the College of Interdisciplinary and Continuing Studies, encouraging adults aged 25+ to return to school and complete their degrees. She also mentors youth and adults, preparing them for college, entrepreneurship, and employment.
Tanelle’s mission is to create sustainable pathways for underserved communities by promoting education, health, and access to essential resources.
