Morgan State’s CEAMLS Partners with Latimer.ai for Inclusive AI Experience
Morgan State University's Center for Equitable AI and Machine Learning Systems (CEAMLS) announces a landmark collaboration with Latimer.ai to introduce the first all-encompassing Large Language Model (LLM). This pioneering model intertwines the cultural narratives of Black and Brown communities into its fabric, reflecting CEAMLS' commitment to quality assurance and control.
CEAMLS grants students access to the LLM, positioning them as pivotal beta users to assess its real-world efficacy. Founded in 2022, CEAMLS leads AI research with a focus on socially responsible systems. Dr. Kofi Nyarko, D.Eng., CEAMLS' director, emphasizes the center's mission to formalize testing protocols, championing algorithmic bias detection and mitigation.
