Message from Program Director

I welcome your interest in the Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Environmental Design (BSAED) Program at Morgan. We are at a moment in history where in spite of the car and the Internet, most people live in cities and design of sustainable buildings, public spaces and urban systems is the great challenge and opportunity of our time. The BSAED program which has grown to over 200 student since its start in 2001 was created to provide opportunity for Morgan's diverse student body to become leaders in design fields in which minorities have historically been excluded. Using Baltimore City as a canvas for learning and research, the faculty provide a rigorous pre-professional background for careers in Architecture, Landscape Architecture and City and Regional Planning.
