Bear Necessities New Student Orientation
Welcome "New Morganites!"
We are excited to provide you with detailed information in reference to summer orientation for incoming fall 2024 freshmen. The Bear Necessities New Student Orientation is mandatory for all incoming freshmen (except CASA and transfer students).

Registration Extended Deadline: June 14, 2024
$300 USD registration fee (non-refundable) for students who register online before June 14, 2024.
* Virtual Orientation is available to incoming out-of-state students in absolute need.
Late fees may be charged to students who register or change their original NSO session after June 14, 2024.
**MANDATORY for all first-time, full-time freshmen**
*There is a SEPARATE Fee for housing. Please contact the Office of Residence Life & Housing (ORLH) for more information.
NEW STUDENTS WAITLIST ACTIVATION
The Office of Residence Life & Housing will officially activate the New Student waitlist on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 5pm. As we anticipate a limited number of additional spaces becoming available, we strongly encourage you to submit your New Student waitlist application as soon as possible. Students on the waitlist are not guaranteed to receive a housing assignment.
The orientation will be a three-day and two-night in-person experience. Students may choose one of these dates:
- June 24 - 26 (Full to Capacity)
- June 28 - 30 (Full to Capacity)
- July 7 - 9 (Full to Capacity)
- July 11 - 13 (Full to Capacity)
- July 15 - 17 (Full to Capacity)
- July 20 - 22
- Virtual
