Morgan State University-SHRM Chapter's mission is to serve as a bridge to the human resource community and to advance the knowledge, understanding and application of human resource principles and practices for students, alumni, and professionals.
The Morgan State University -SHRM Chapter is a student lead organization with support and guidance from key university faculty.
The purpose of our chapter is to enhance the growing Human Resources community on Morgan State University's campus.
Objectives
Our objectives are to highlight Morgan's Graves School of Business as a destination for top HR talent.
- Through growing our membership with a 30% increase in membership each semester
- To promote active participation in chapter events
- And to have at least 5 members sit for the SHRM-CP
- Be a resource in the Morgan State University community that delivers valuable HR related information
