Mari-Andrea Travis is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, director, choreographer, and ​producer who received her start in the arts at her family's dance school, Flair Studio, ​where she studied dance, etiquette, and modeling; taught; and co-managed the ​business alongside her mother and grandmother, who started the family business in ​1968. She has choreographed and/or directed productions at Morgan State University ​(MSU), Coppin State University, Towson University, Arena Players, Fells Point Corner ​Theatre, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, and Baltimore Center Stage; and ​assistant directed productions at various LORT theatre houses within the metropolitan ​area. She has a BFA in Theatre from Morgan State University and an MFA in Dance ​from The University of the Arts. Mari-Andrea is a professor of theatre at Morgan State University, and is the ​Founder-Artistic Director of Good Stuff On Stage.
