About TEA Team

The Transfer Evaluation and Articulation team (TEA) is dedicated to providing information and support to transfer students during the transfer credit & course evaluation process.  We aim to prepare students for success by helping them understand the transfer course credit process. We offer guidance and resources to prospective and incoming transfer students to facilitate a smoother transition to Morgan State University. 

Our services and resources include the following:

  • Review and completion of official evaluation of transfer credits & courses;
  • Specialized traditional and non-traditional credits, including Advanced Placement (AP), College-Level Exam Program (CLEP), Defense Activity for Non-traditional Education Support (DANTES or DSST), foreign, American Counsel on Education (ACE), and military credits ( Joint Services Transcript, Community College of the Air Force or CCAF).
  • Monitoring and updating the articulation system for Maryland Colleges and Universities (ARTSYS), Transfer Evaluation System (TES), and Bear TrAP Transfer Portal, as well as creating, maintaining, and reviewing recommended transfer programs Memorandum of Understanding (MOU),  and Articulation Agreements.
  • Review MSU student's permission to take a course off campus form;
  • Housing the Delta Gamma Chapter of Tau Sigma National Honor Society for transfer students; and,
  • Ensuring compliance with Maryland Higher Education Commission and Code of Maryland (COMAR) transfer policies.
