Biographical Sketch

Devron D. Dickens is a Full-Time Contractual Professor at the Master of Social Work Department at the School of Social Work at Morgan State University.

Professor Dickens is an LCSW-C and has over 20 years of social work practice experience. He has been a case manager, supervisor, program manager, and worked in the areas of family preservation, therapeutic foster care, community organization, and clinical social work. Currently, he provides community-based individual and family therapy services in Urban communities. Professor Dickens is a Ph.D. student at the Ph.D. Department at the School of Social Work at Morgan State University. Professor Dickens' research interests include Black Men and Social Work Education.
