Training

The Diversity & EEO Office is available to provide training to University faculty, staff, and students. Training topics include:

  • Discrimination in the employment and academic environment
  • Title IX/Sexual Misconduct (includes sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking)
  • Diversity & Cultural Competency
  • Accommodations for disabled employees

Mandatory Sexual Misconduct Prevention in the Workplace Training

In line with our core values of leadership, integrity, innovation, diversity, excellence and respect, we at Morgan are dedicated to establishing an environment free from all forms of discrimination, including but not limited to sexual harassment.  Pursuant to state law (State Personnel and Pensions, Title 2, Subtitle §2-203.1), all employees are required to undergo at least 2 hours of live virtual or live in person training on sexual harassment prevention as follows:

  • Within 6 months of employment; AND
  • Every 2 years, which at Morgan, is every fiscal year ending in an even year, such as FY2021-2022, 2023-2024, 2025-2026, etc.

Trainings for new employees will be provided during orientation.  Available trainings, during every 2 years, will be published for the University community to self-schedule sessions.

Pursuant to state and federal law, sexual violence and misconduct prevention training for students is available through our vendor, Get Inclusive, for Academic Years 2022-2023, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025.  A link to the training will be sent to each registered student’s Morgan email account.
