Kelley Murphy managed the Tissue Imaging and Analytical Morphology Core at the University of Utah for seven years, providing assistance and training to undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, medical students, and faculty members from departments across campus ranging from biology to the Huntsman Cancer Institute. She has more than 25 years' experience working in general histology, in situ hybridization, immunocytochemistry, laser capture microscopy, molecular and cellular biology, genetic analysis, and animal models ranging from Drosophila melanogaster to rodents. In addition to teaching several short courses in immunohistochemistry and imaging at the Marine Biology Laboratory in conjunction with The Histochemical Society, she taught gross anatomy at the University of Utah Medical School for eight years.
