Faculty members may place library materials on Reserve for use by their students. Reserves are shelved at the Circulation Desk and are available for use within the Library for short periods of time. Materials on Reserve are noted in the online catalog--searchable by the instructor's name, course number, course name, department name, or words in the title.
The interlibrary loan system used by the Morgan State University Library is ILLiad (InterLibrary Loan internet accessible database) a web-based interface that will allow you to access the MSU library interlibrary loan service from any internet browser.
eScholarship@Morgan is an institutional repository for scholarship created by the faculty, students, and staff of Morgan State University. As part of the Maryland Shared Open Access Repository (MD-SOAR), eScholarship@Morgan provides long-term storage and public access to academic materials from the Morgan community, meeting the data management and open access requirements for grants and other funding agencies.
Information Literacy Program
Morgan State University information literacy program provides students, faculty and staff with assistance in developing library research skills and competent information use as part of lifelong learning. Faculty may request information literacy sessions, and the library also offers drop-in workshops twice a week both in person and online.
