Fall 2020 Programming

Welcome to the Fall Semester!

The Education Abroad Offices at Morgan State University, Howard University and Prairie View A & M University are back with another programming collaboration!

We invite you to join us for a three-part virtual series entitled, "Voices of the Diaspora". During such unparalleled times, it is critical that our institutions/offices lead conversations that continuously broaden our collective understanding of and appreciation for the transnational Black experience. Voices of the Diaspora is a series designed to do just that!

In an effort to enhance the conversation around "Blackness abroad" our first segment will explore the experiences of Black International students at HBCUs!

Voices of the Diaspora Part 3: Building a New Pipeline: Navigating the Field of International Education as Black Professionals

In an effort to develop a strong pipeline of diverse future leaders within the field of education abroad, this session is intended to provide the insight of current practitioners into the field of international education to an HBCU student audience. The increase of students' awareness of and access to professional opportunities related to global education is the primary learning objective.
