Students at the University reflect a variety of faith traditions. One of the functions at the University Memorial Chapel is to provide a place for the spiritual nurture of all students, faculty, and staff. The Chapel provides a venue for regular formal worship, for informal religious meetings or conferences, and for weddings and funerals. These services are primarily, but not exclusively, for persons associated with the University.
Christian worship services are held on Sundays at 11:00 a. m.
The aim of the Chapel is to provide the best worship models for its clients, inclusive of creative and energetic services, and high-quality messages and music. By so doing, the student's level of understanding and appreciation of what worship is all about may be enhanced. The Chapel seeks to serve as a learning opportunity for students, as well as an arena within which they may develop their leadership, public speaking, and other key skills.
